Once your session is booked and all formalities are out of the way, then the fun can be begin! In the week leading up to your session, I will reach out so we can chat more about what your vision is for your session. Wanting more of the laid back vibe? How about more trending and pops of color? Whatever it is you are thinking, we will talk about it and finalize all the important details!
The day of your session is when the magic can really begin! I pride myself on finding ways to get people to break out of their shell's without them even knowing. Whether that means me telling any dad joke I can think of (thanks dad for giving me tons to use) or simply getting them to talk about something they love, I try to find ways to make a genuine connection with my clients. I think that's what makes a difference in my photos - once that connection is made then you can start to see the true essence of someone shine through the camera lens.
A big thing that I hear often from clients, is that they don't know how to pose - I GOT YOU! That is what I am here for!
I promise to get your good side and try all sorts of poses to make sure you get the photos you want (plus some extra ones you didn't even know you wanted).
After your session, I take all of our amazing photos back and begin the editing process. Now, a big thing I like to remind my clients is that they are human and they are beautiful the way they are - I don't do any editing that takes away or covers up the natural beauty of people. Photos are meant to capture exactly how you are in this moment in time. I like to keep them that way. I do however, like to keep my colors more on the warm-toned and bright side!
Moody and dark photos are stunning, but they aren't how I edit and I like to remind my clients of that.
Now, I can be a very impatient person when it comes to photos (meaning, I hate having to wait for what feels like forever before I see any completed photos) therefore, you end up with sneak peeks pretty quickly! For most sessions, I say give me 2 days for sneak peeks, sometimes I can't control myself so you end up with photos that night (oops). Your final gallery gets delivered in 2 weeks or 8 weeks if it's a wedding. After that, our time together might seem over, but it isn't! I'll probably follow you on social media so I can keep up with your sweet family and I will always hope that you come back to me for more of your sessions.

01. How do we book you for A Session?
Head over to my contact page and reach out! Make sure to include what session you are thinking of doing, when you would like to and any other info you think I should know. I will get back in touch with as soon as I can! You can also reach out through my Facebook & Instagram pages (if you aren't following those, you most definitely should.)
02. Do you travel for sessions?
ABSOLUTELY!! Yes, I am based in Amarillo, but with my family all in Lubbock, TX I consider myself to be based out of Lubbock too. If your location is somewhere outside of Amarillo or Lubbock - I will still travel to you! There will just be a travel fee included in your session price. The travel fee is dependent on final location and how far from me it is.
03. How do you handle kiddos on photo days?
I give them the space to be kids! Allowing them to run, play games and even help me capture some photos, not only makes for some great memories, but it helps me create a safe space for all family members. You are also always welcome to bring toys or things that help your kiddos feel safe or comfortable!
04. Do you offer session add-ons? Extra hours or extra outfits?
I do! I know sometimes my packages aren't going to meet exactly what you are wanting or needing. For that reason, I have included an A La Carte section on my services page that includes all extra add ons I offer!
